101 Days of Summer: Day 100

Slept in until 9 this morning. That was nice. But then Chance was running a bit late so we were rushing. I had Stabucks venti caramel frap for breakfast (with a cookie). Came home and Carrie had made me a frappe, but I forgot to drink it. Got some work done and then got ready for a wedding. Of course, I was running wayyy late. I got out of the shower 5 minutes (no lie) before I had to leave to go to the church. So I rushed and rushed getting makeup and hair ready. Carrie picked out my outfit and let me borrow her top and flats. And I still can't understand why anyone would wear flats by choice. I like my toes to be free. And I like being tall. So... ifk. We looked for me name tag for ever, but couldn't find it anywhere and gave up. I can't even begin to explain to you that nervous/rushed feeling I was having. Definitely wasn't loving it at all and promised myself I'd dedicate tomorrow to cleaning.

So at the church, we just figured out where the flowers should all go and then put petals in little baggies for guests to throw to the happy couple when they walked back up the isle. It was pouring in and out, but the bride didn't get wet before the wedding. Then when the bride's bridal party came we fixed their dresses and gave them their bouquets and pinned the stefania on the flower girls (there were four). I left soon after and went to the Palace to set up for the reception. Of course we got attacked with rain on the way there, so I ended up soaking wettt. Luckiliy the catering services manager there had a hair dryer for me to kind of dry off with. Our room wasn't set up on time, but we worked through it anyways. We set up a few tables there (guestbook, escort cards, etc) and then went on to the second room where we set up the gift table, and gifts for guests. The wedding was beautiful: I loved everything about it: the colors, the decor, the style, everything!

When I came home, I had a huge headache. Carrie and Chance brought up my new TV and we set it all up and figured out what one of the light-switches goes to. I watched the most recent episode of One Tree Hill (and cried my eyes out like a baby) before going to sleep.

Until tomorrow,
Selina
