101 Days of Summer: Day 55

And finally a day off. (From work that is.) I’m glad that I’ve been having my days off together lately. But that’s not the case in a couple weeks. Oh well.

Slept in a little. Then organized the apartment a bit. We have so much stuff now. Our living room looked like couch central. But that got fixed. Chance and I were in the zone for cleaning and organizing and a lot of time went by. Delvys came over and Chance reviewed some things with him. I was done getting ready, so I touched up my nail polish: gargantuan green grape in matte by OPI.

By this time we were running late for our 2:00 appointment. So I contacted John and had that moved to 10:00. Once in Tampa, we went to a Pawn Shop and got rid of some things that Ashley and Jesse had left behind. Easiest cash ever. Afterwards, we met up with Chance’s dad, Raul, and went to a Mongolian Buffet for lunch. It was nice. My favorite was the sushi. And they could make you any kind of sushi you wanted. And they even had real ice cream, where normal buffets usually have the soft kind from the machine. We stopped by Caliente after that to look at Chance’s grandfather’s Memorial Garden. I hadn’t realized before that the bridge was a Memorial bridge. Even though it was starting to rain, I took a moment to take it all in. It was so peaceful and serene. And all of those people that had passed away were somebody. They meant something to someone. #ithinktoomuch

After Raul paid to fill up our gas, we had about an hour so Chris (Jay) met us at Target and we walked around. Chance had gotten soaking wet by this point, mind you. I had just gotten my (Carrie’s) heels wet. I got some chocolate milk to drink and practically gulped the thing down. I love chocolate milk. Especially if it’s organic. It’s literally like a dessert for me.

When time was up, we were on our way to meet with Jenny, Phil and Baby Phil. It was so nice to see her again. Promise, it’s been more than 7 years. It felt like we were still close friends though. Such a great feeling. She is doing an amazing job or raising her baby. Who by the way is the most adorable little boy ever. Honestly, I’m hoping to maintain a relationship with them. I’d love to be there to see their little one grow. Anyways, the presentation went well. I was able to learn about different ways to answer questions, which was good. We were there a little too long, but it’s all good. I could spend all my time helping other learn about all this stuff. I feel that everyone should know what we teach.

So then we went to Steak & Shake at 11:00 to meet with John. I felt so bad because our original appointment was set for 2:00 and we had to keep changing it on him. He was okay with it all. And I honestly hadn’t given him enough information before either. We got some shakes and Chance started the presentation. It went well too. He didn’t have too many questions, but it could be that he was just overwhelmed with all the information. He decided to join right there and then. Chance laptop didn’t have much battery. And his Palm wasn’t working properly. But we took the information anyways. *PS: George & Maritsa ended up going to S&S while we were there. It was nice seeing George again because of all the times I go home, I never really see him. Plus, it was good for him to see that we’re (Chance and I ) really doing this. At all hours and locations.

I drove home. No idea how I made it. I was falling asleep at the wheel. Came home at 4am. Exhausted.

Until tomorrow,
Selina Christine
