Hope

So I posted a video today where I mentioned that I should write a post about how much the word "hope" means to me. Then I went back to old poems I had written in other blogs that I have and came across this one. It was written by me on March 12, 2008. Yes, that's over 2 years ago, but this all still remains true.

HOPE
imagine it. create it. live it. share it.
In the end, be proud of what you have done.

The word to me has many meanings. It affects me religiously, physically, and psychologically. The idea behind hope, the thought behind hope, the emotion behind hope, brings about a feeling which is extremely personal.
It represents:

· Understanding that I am not alone

· Perseverance that I will succeed

· Faith that I will be happy

· Reminder of the future

· Acceptance of my surroundings

· Strength of my survival

· Belief in Him as my Savior

Hope is positive; optimistic.

Hope for a better self, life, world.

Hope.

Just An Intro

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post a quick introduction for those of you who don't know me.

My name is Selina and I am a beauty guru on YouTube. I am currently 19 years old and a sophomore in college. I'm studying Event Management & Hospitality Management. I absolutely love anything and everything girly. This blog will cover pretty much my life: reviews, thoughts on my mind, day recaps, fashion-of-the-day, beauty tricks, diet tips, and random tags etc.

Just to throw it out there really quick: I'm self taught. I don't have any educational background in beauty, but it is my passion, and I've learned a lot after starting my YouTube channel.
